1)You don't have to use NodeJS&Express you can use whatever you know as backend language but if you know Javascript I'd recommend you to start with NodeJS(with Express or Koa which are nodejs web application frameworks allow you to use like post-get processes etc) 2)People who are using Nodejs with Angular usually using MEAN(MongoDB,Express, Angular,NodeJS), and I'd definitely recommend you to follow this videos Maximilian Schwarzmüller [this video] 's channel he is really good with teaching. 3)It depends on you, I'm using VSCode now ,others maybe Webstorm.Deciding IDE is up to you To be able to install npm packages you need to download NodeJS from NodeJS website [LINK] then automatically npm ins

I have a method called `getTaskUpdateListener()` in my service which returns an observable object. I can subscribe to any one of the methods in my service using that. My very first block of code is where it is implemented and it works. Any way to use that method correctly to subscribe to all three of the methods I need? I do not want to rewrite my entire service and cause problems elsewhere in the app. I based this code on a tutorial by Maximilian Schwarzmüller found here: [this video] he explains the code and reasoning behind it around 2:19:40

I am working with angular and trying to make a webpage on my local host, but I cannot use functions. I assume it is a path issue, but I have declared all my paths correctly. Spent 4 hours trying to google the answer up, didn't find anything answering this issue. I have created 2 components myself, outside of what was made by defualt when I created the angular project: post-create.component.html post-create.component.ts From the app folder, they are both located at: './posts/posts-create/post-create.component.html' './posts/posts-create/post-create.component.ts' I have been an copy pasted the name of the folders to make sure it isn't a miss-spell post-create.component.ts looks like this: impo

I am getting to know some basic MEAN-stack features and I'm following this tutorial (linked to the specific part of the video I have problem with): [this video] Basically what I'm trying to do is inserting <mat-expansion-panel> inside a <mat-accordion> with a <mat-expansion-panel-header> and some simple <p> content below. What I'm getting rendered is an already expanded panel with the <mat-expansion-panel-header> and the <p> shown below, with no option to close and/or reopen it. It's basically dead. One thing I did differently than the guy from the tutorial is in app.module.ts file I imported the module according to the newest Angular documentation as follows: import { MatExpansionModule } from '

I'm following this tutorial [this video] (I set the time to be where my problem starts). I have a problem locally when he removes all elements from posts variable and sets it to an empty array. Here's the post-list.component.ts just in case: import { Component } from '@angular/core'; @Component({ selector: 'app-post-list', templateUrl: './post-list.component.html', styleUrls: ['./post-list.component.css'] }) export class PostListComponent { posts = []; } In post-list.component.html : <mat-accordion multi="true" *ngIf="posts.length > 0"> <mat-expansion-panel *ngFor="let post of posts"> <mat-expansion-panel-header> {{ post.title }} <-HERE </mat-expansion-panel-header> <p> {{ post.content }} <- HERE
