Simply use Spacer to take all the remaining space in your Column . Try this: Column( children: <Widget>[ SizedBox(height: 12), Text("Facebook"), Spacer(), Row( mainAxisAlignment: MainAxisAlignment.spaceBetween, children: <Widget>[ Padding( padding: const EdgeInsets.symmetric(vertical: 8, horizontal: 8), child: Text("Sales:"), ), Padding( padding: const EdgeInsets.symmetric(vertical: 8, horizontal: 8), child: Text("200Mio."), ) ], ), Row( mainAxisAlignment: MainAxisAlignment.spaceBetween, children: <Widget>[ Padding( padding: const EdgeInsets.symmetric(vertical: 8, horizontal: 8), child: Text("HeadQuarters:"), ), Padding( padding: const EdgeInsets.symmetric(vertical: 8, horizontal: 8), child:

Widgets inside a Flex widget (eg. Column, Row ) can be wrapped in the Flexible widget. The Flexible widget has flex propery. Flutter has 3 flexible widgets: Flexible [LINK] , Expanded [LINK] and Spacer [this video] return Container( child: new Row( children: <Widget>[ Flexible( flex: 1 /*or any integer value above 0 (optional)*/, child: Column( children: <Widget>[ Expanded( flex: 1 /*or any integer value above 0 (optional)*/, child: new Text("Hello World")), ], ), ), new Column( children: <Widget>[ new Text( "This is a long text this is a long test this is This is a long text this is a long test this is This is a long text this is a long test this is This is a long text this is a long test this i

When I usually create a flutter app, for its responsiveness I usually use these points: Use of Expanded [LINK] , Flexible [LINK] , and Spacer [this video] Widgets when using Rows and Columns: All of these have a property called flex which is highly useful. Whenever I use rows or columns I use these widgets. Use of Layout Builder and Media Query widgets: These are there in the documentation: Creating responsive apps [LINK] (There are more articles on this flutter documentation which are recommended), can be used to know the screen size, the width, and the height, also how your apps function in different orientations. MediaQuery [LINK] gives the width and height as follows: double w = MediaQuery.of

I know my answer might be late, but this is for other people looking for another simple opinion in the same matter with a simple widget meant for that. Short Answer: You can just use the Spacer [this video] widget which fills the remaining space automatically without the need to put your widgets on different layers. Long Answer : You can still use a SizedBox with a height of double.maxFinite (which was the first thing I thought of) but it would throw your widget out of the viewport with a renderflex error so it's not that great in our scenario and we don't want any errors. Or you can use a Stack widget and align your logout button in the bottomCenter, but we'd be adding more code to maintain. So
