Deldo - Vibration Control and Teledildonics Mode for Emacs
Why Hacker News recommends it
HN mostly links it as a joke in Emacs threads, though one commenter calls the video the most interesting part of the Deldo project.
What it is
A demo of Deldo, an Emacs package that lets Emacs hooks trigger vibration events on computer-controllable sex toys. It is an absurd teledildonics project that is half performance art.

Honestly the video is the most interesting part: [this video] I can't quite figure out if it's performance art or enthusiasm. Probably a bit of both.
