@SomeoneSpecial The documentation around is very blurry, so it might I got it everything wrong. Do you have experience of deploy a Nextjs + Azure app as you describe? Would you be able to show me the file structure + deployment steps? The only good info with this env I've found is this video: [this video]

I want to host nextjs application under the IIS website as a sub-application, following the below video I am able to run nextjs app as a website in IIS [this video] . i need help to host it as a sub-application. the reason i want to host it as a sub app is i already have 5-6 asp.net websites running as sub applications under the parent site and now i want to host nextjs app under the same site. [this video] I've been using this video to set it up but I'm wondering if I can just run next start and have that be the node server instead of my own custom server. I see that the web.config file points to the server.js file (custom server) as an entry/starting point and if I do next start it wont have that configuration. So is there any way I can just use next.js next start to start my server instead of have my own custom server but still have it be deployed on IIS?

I aim using secure flagged cookies in a node app in IIS. I'm working on a Next.js app and also trying to deploy on IIS to meet some corporate requirements. I've already configured IIS by installing iisnode, URL rewrite module, nodejs to server and mostly followed the footsteps in this [this video] video. SSR and static structures are just working fine. IIS already has its own SSL certificate. According to my researchs; iisnode requests from IIS to your node app running express. The ssl connection is terminated at IIS and your node app receives an http request. When the app requires cookies over a secure connection it fails. So when it comes to cookies with secure options, this creates issues. As

Hello so I've been tasked with deploying our next web app to a IIS windows server and cant see to figure out how to get passed this problem I am running into. I just have a basic create-next-app with pretty much no code trying to get it deployed to the server and working correctly. I've read around and it seems I'm running into a permissions issue but from a lot of reading I cant seem to figure out what I need to change [LINK] [LINK] Here my web.config and server.js that are currently located in the root directory. <configuration> <system.webServer> <webSocket enabled="false" /> <handlers> <add name="iisnode" path="server.js" verb="*" modules="iisnode"/> </handlers> <rewrite> <rules> <rule n

After 9 Hours I have successfully shown the first page (entry point of my project). but in the browser tab, I am seeing my server.js code. not the rendered pages. This is my server.js code which is also showing on the browser. const { createServer } = require('http') const { parse } = require('url') const next = require('next') const dev = process.env.NODE_ENV !== 'production' const hostname = 'localhost' const port = process.env.PORT || 3000; // when using middleware `hostname` and `port` must be provided below const app = next({ dev, hostname, port }) const handle = app.getRequestHandler() app.prepare().then(() => { createServer(async (req, res) => { try { // Be sure to pass `true` as the
