I have done everything that the youtube tutorial shows to do at [this video] . Everytime that I go to push to origin the process hangs and will eventually fail. The output that I am getting is this: c:\Program Files (x86)\Git\bin\git.exe push "origin" master:master (Then it hangs here for 20 minutes plus) I am able to clone the central repository, I am able to pull from it, I am committing changes to my personal repository but it will not allow me to push. Thanks in advance. EDIT: $ git remote show origin * remote origin Fetch URL: [LINK] [repository] Push URL: [LINK] [repository] HEAD branch: master Remote branch: master tracked Local branch configured for 'git pull': master merges with remote m

As illustrated in this [this video] , the push should not last more than a few seconds ;) In Git Extensions, you need to select Plugins->GitHub, and enter your Github login and password, if you want to push using an https address.
