Why Stack Overflow recommends it

Stack Overflow users link it when someone's Android phone is not detected by Android Studio or when the slow emulator makes testing on a real device the better option.

What it is

A beginner-level Android Studio tutorial, part 129 of a series by PRABEESH R K, showing how to connect a real Android phone to a computer for debugging. It covers downloading the Google USB driver so adb can detect the device and then running an app on it instead of the emulator.

I've followed this link [this video] and it worked well with my Moto G 2nd Generation. When I try to see the logs from my device on Android Monitor, I had to unlock my device and there was a message asking if it was ok to debug from this computer. Allow USB Debug message [LINK] Hope it works for you too.
