Try and do: pyinstaller --onefile -w main.py The -w flag stops python from bringing up the console, and so this could be why tkinter is failing. Source: This cool video [this video] I highly recommend you watch this video as it also goes a little in depth on how to clean up after building the exe.

You can create executable from python script using NSIS [LINK] (Nullsoft scriptable install system). Follow the below steps to convert your python files to executable. Download and install NSIS [LINK] in your system. Compress the folder in the .zip file that you want to export into the executable. Start NSIS and select Installer based on ZIP file . Find and provide a path to your compressed file. Provide your Installer Name and Default Folder path and click on Generate to generate your exe file. Once its done you can click on Test to test executable or Close to complete the process. You can use pyinstaller in collaboration with NSIS to create an installer that transports zipped folders. This zipped folder can (and must) contain your newly created script.exe and all of its required dependencies. They would be accessible to the user as they will simply receive the entire folder. @Behnamkvl 2. For turning your .exe into a setup.exe for users to install and uninstall easily, I would recommend to use something like 'NSIS': [this video] @ 5:30 or you could use Inno: [LINK] I believe there both free but just double check.

Install pyinstaller: Go to command prompt and type pip install pyinstaller . Create .exe: If you want to create a .exe from a .py you need to open your command prompt under the correct directory of the file and type: pyinstaller —-onefile filename // e.g hello.py as the filename If it has any basic graphics, type the following in command prompt pyinstaller —-onefile -w then your file name This should all work. Install pyinstaller. Command: pip install pyinstaller In your terminal or command prompt type this command: pyinstaller --onefile -w [name of your file] The -w is to prevent the command prompt from showing up. Don't use it if you are getting input from the user through the console by input() pyinstaller would have created a few useless folders and files. The only folder you need is the "dist" folder. You can delete the rest. You can take the file inside the dist folder and put it in your main directory. You don't need the dist directory either now. There's a very simple solution to this. Use the PyInstaller module to convert your python script to an executable file. The best thing about PyInstaller is that it will fetch all your dependencies and stack all these to an executable file. You can follow this simple line of code from your script directory in your command prompt pyinstaller --onefile -w [your_script_name.py] You can also watch this video, this guy explains it pretty well : [this video] Also here's the PyInstaller manual: [LINK] Now to convert into .apk file, to the best of my knowledge I don't think you can directly convert your python script to .apk.
