I'm writing a Flutter web project with a Spring boot backend and am really battling with getting the authentication stuff to work. In flutter web I have a "sign_in" method which receives an email and password and passes it to a repository method which sends a post request to the server. See code below. Currently it appears as if the post never returns as the "done with post" line never prints. Future<String> signIn(String email, String password) async { authenticationRepository.setStatus(AuthenticationStatus.unknown()); print('signIn user: email: $email pw: $password'); User user = User('null', email, password: password); //print('user: $user'); var url; if (ServerRepository.SERVER_USE_HTTPS

I'm follow a tutorial [this video] on Spring Boot Security, but I got stuck. Currently I'm setting up a CommandLineRunner, which does 3 things: Create Roles Create User Add roles to users Running the code creates a table with the created roles and a table for the created users, but adding roles to users ends up in a error. I checked the code several times but cant find a mistake. Please check out my code on Github [LINK] and below you find the Stack overflow . Please let me know if you found something. 2022-04-30 10:57:14.987 INFO 5620 --- [ restartedMain] o.s.s.web.DefaultSecurityFilterChain : Will secure any request with [org.springframework.security.web.context.request.async.WebAsyncManagerInt

I have been following the tutorial on Spring security with JWT ( link [this video] ), and decided to use Spring Boot Starter Data JDBC version 2.6.6 [LINK] instead of of JPA and noticed quite strange behaviour. I have a user class: @Table("CUSTOMER") public class Customer { @Id @Column private Long id; @Column private String email; @Column private String password; @MappedCollection(keyColumn = "ROLE_ID", idColumn = "ROLE_ID") private Collection<Role> roles = new ArrayList<>(); @MappedCollection(keyColumn = "CART_ITEM_ID",idColumn = "CART_ITEM_ID") private Map<Long, CartItem> productsInCart = new HashMap<>(); //constructors, getters and setters and Role class: @Table("ROLE") public class Role { @I
