What it is
A short 2009 screencast by Julio Barros showing how to combine a UITabBarController with UINavigationControllers in Interface Builder, so each tab has its own navigation stack like the iPod app. It covers the gap left by Xcode's templates, which offer navigation-based or tab-bar apps but not both together.

Is it correct to have a separate navigation controller for each item?

But when I go to the tab that has the navigation controller it has two navigationBar's. I can't find where to get rid of this for the life of me. It must be something really simple but I've been searching for way too long. None of the many tutorials I've
