There's no need to create different solutions to achieve what you planned to do. If you are using Visual Studio, create a solution with a Web API project and use dotnet CLI to create an Angular JS project in that your solution folder. Alternatively, you can do the above with the following CLI commands. Have a folder with your preferred project name maybe your on desktop Open the folder in a terminal (i.e either PowerShell, command prompt, git etc) and execute the following commands dotnet new webapi -o backend ng new clientapp (follow the terminal on-screen instructions to complete the creation) Kindly watch this video: [this video]

your solution works great. When I saw this video till 17 Minute: [this video] I was facing a problem here: services.AddDbContext<PaymentDetailContext>(options => options.UseSqlServer(Configuration.GetConnectionString("DevConnection"))); UseSqlServer not recognizes so I did this Install-Package Microsoft.EntityFrameworkCore.SqlServer -Version 3.1.5 & using Microsoft.EntityFrameworkCore; Then my problem is solved. About me: basically I am a purely PHP programmer since beginning and today only I started .net coding, thanks for good community in .net

If you are using SSMS as Database and Angular in front end. Then you should use dotnet core web api as a backend. Which will take the data from DB and leave it at the endpoint. Then from that endpoint you have to connect your Angular Project and retreive all the information using HTTP Services. Watch this video tutorial. [this video] Weather it is one record and crores of records you have to go through this process. [LINK]
