Thanks a lot for the answer, it really helped me out another great video resource that I've found is this one [this video] ... in here you also get the idea on what requests you actuall need to send, how to send them, and how to get the data object that's needed to embed afterwards in your personal web page

I'm trying to create a youtube social feed that includes the video, title, description, date, and view count. I've got everything to work except for the last one, view count. I've been able to get the view counts to show up but they are always out of order and I'm lost on how to make them match up to their respective videos. I used this video as an initial tutorial: [ [this video] It got me this far, but now I'm lost again. Here is my code via code pen: [ [LINK] here is my html: <div id="container"> <h2>Results:</h2> <ul id="results"></ul> </div> and here is my javascript: var yourApiKey = 'AIzaSyDpY9FHgp7EvnDr5mGrxWwKgUBtfM8l5PE'; var channelName = 'GoogleDevelopers'; var vidCount = 5; var vidHe

With the YouTube API you can construct ad hoc playlists on the querystring like this... [this video] When this is a link on a web page, viewed on an Android device and the YouTube official app is selected as the default app to launch when these links are clicked, it only plays one of the videos and does not show any playlist like you see on the web. Even if you select the browser as the default app, it just downloads the first video, but then it is unplayable. I do not want to create a predefined YouTube playlist ahead of time with the videos defined - I know that will work - this feature of my site is designed to allow the user to autoplay a selection of videos at the touch of a button on the we

Question: Why am I receiving only 1 video from the below actions I take with the YouTube Data V3 API? The example channel I am trying to pull videos from ( [LINK] ) has multiple videos. I'm trying to fetch all the videos and their associated ids from the Youtube data api v3 for a specific channel. Let's use the example channel JayLenosGarage. So following this video on YouTube ( [this video] ) which says to first get an "uploads" id by querying the channels#list api, then taking using the uploads id to run a query thru playlists#list api, I ran queries thru the API explorer (I also tried curl with an API_KEY) for JayLenosGarage channel on Youtube as follows and received the following output: Chan

I am trying to do exactly the same as this tutorial ( [LINK] ) on Rails but I am stuck at a point (see at 1:40) whether I need to specify in application.html.erb in different format or there is any other way to do it. First of all, after I have obtained authorisation credentials through creating a project in the google developers console, I began to first proceeded to follow this tutorial ( [this video] ). This was fairly easy and I had no problem with it as this tutorial specifies the key in every method or call. (see at 13:30). However, ( [LINK] ) when I started learning this second tutorial, I found that the tutorial approached requesting an API call slightly differently from the first tutoria

I'm currently trying to make a site which uploads all the videos from specific playlist of some channel. Like list of videos. And I found this video - link [this video] . And that's what I have now: $(document).ready(function() { $.get( " [LINK] ",{ part : 'contentDetails', forUsername : 'CHANNEL_NAME', key: 'MY_KEY'}, function(data) { $.each( data.items, function( i, item ) { console.log(item); }) } ); }); <script src=" [LINK] "></script> But I have nothing in console, though judging by console.log(item) something must be there, at least undefined . And even when I write just console.log('hi') I still have nothing. I just can't understand what's wrong. Anyway, I'd be very thankful for any help.
