You can't do this with discord.py, but you can do it with pycord, which is a fork of discord.py. The newest version of pycord (2.0.0) supports slash commands, message components, and ephemeral messages. You can install it by running this in your terminal: pip install -U git+ [LINK] To make the bot send a hidden message, you do this: await ctx.send('This is a hidden message', ephemeral=True) You can also use the built in slash command feature with pycord, without needing to install a third-party library. You can check the docs here [LINK] for more info. This tutorial [this video] explains how to create views and buttons with pycord.

All interactions (besides slash commands) need a view. You can get this by doing from discord.ui import View Then you can make a variable that holds the view. Ex view = View() You can then add the button to the view like view = View(buttontest) or the way you are doing right now. You can then just do view=view Here is a very good video explaining how to use buttons in Pycord. [this video]

I have seen on this video [this video] that you can call button such as: @discord.ui.button(label="Hola") # Callback function that disable the button and reply to the user async def button_callback(self, button, interaction): button.disabled = True await interaction.response.edit_message(view=self) await interaction.followup.send('Hello!') I'm trying to make something like this: class MyView(View): @GreenButtons('Hello There!') async def button_callback(self, button, interaction): button.disabled = True await interaction.response.edit_message(view=self) await interaction.followup.send('General Kenobi!')
