FWIW, As I mentioned earlier I really like ChicagoComputerClasses - he has a video entitled Google Sheets - Dependent Drop Down List for Entire Column, Multiple Levels [this video] . I highly recommend it; best I have seen.

I would like to create a script for this Sheets [LINK] . In Data tab I have all the levels. With that script I wanna create 4 dependent drop down lists for entire columns with multiple levels in Index tab. Thanks to this tutorial [this video] I could create one script that read one table. But I would prefer avoid create one table with one conditions per row, it would be a table with so many rows. Expenses include so many sublevels, this is the principal problem. This is the code: var mainWsName = "Index"; var leyendaWsName = "Data"; var firstLevelColumn = 2; var secondLevelColumn = 3; var thirdLevelColumn = 4; var ws = SpreadsheetApp.getActiveSpreadsheet().getSheetByName(mainWsName); var wsData =

I've created a google sheet with dependent drop down lists based on this script [LINK] / tutorial [this video] . Here's a copy of the sheet I've created. [LINK] Instead of creating a drop down list like the one currently present in column C of the master sheet, my goal is to auto populate cells in column C with each unique value available in the drop down list. I've attempted this via VLOOKUP [LINK] but only got errors in response, likely due to a lack of validation or some other form of logic I'm not familiar with. I'm also interested in having the populated options in column C clear (clearContent) if either column A or column B options are modified, similar to how the current script works. Any

I'm trying to implement conditional drop-down lists in the sheet you see below using Google Script (if you have any other ideas, though, feel free to share). I based most of my code on this tutorial [this video] . The idea is to update the possible list values on the third column ("Indicador"), based on the value selected on the second column of each corresponding row. The correspondence table used to determine what list of values should be used can be found in Figure 2 (another worksheet). Note that the values that are searched for are on the first column and possibly returned lists on the last column of the table displayed in figure 2 (it's, in essence, a VLOOKUP). [My Goal] Using Google Apps Scripts and Google Sheets, I want to create a second level dependent drop down list, where if I select a value from the first drop down list, it'll allow me to select another value from the next drop down list. After selecting the second drop down list, I want to be able to set 6 values across each column. For example, under "Nutrition Plan Sheet" screenshot, if I select "Protein" for Column B, another drop down list will be available under Column C to select the ingredient. Which in this case is "Chicken Breast." Now, what I'm also trying to do is to have Column D-H to be auto-filled when I select a value for Column C. Note: The ingredients are coming from a tabl

I have created a google sheet with a dependent drop down list based on this tutorial [this video] . Copy of the sheet I've created. [LINK] I am happy with the functionality of the dependent drop down list, however my goal is to copy all of the data in a row from the "materials" sheet (columns B:I) that correspond to the option selected from the dependent drop down list in column E of the "crop_specific" sheet, copying this info to columns E:L. I would like to retain the functionality of the current script that clears content in column E if the selection from column D is changed, extending this to the entire row. Any help would be really appreciated. Code for the script is below. var ws = Spreadsh

Three hours ago I didn't know how to do a dependent drop-down list at all. Now, I have a data validated column that, when choosing the data, will give a drop-down for the next cell over. However, I would like to do this twice. The problem is, I don't know how to duplicate it in the script. This is how I even got this far [this video] This is the link to my Google Sheet [LINK] Here is the code I had before trying to work on the FEEDBACK columns. The TECHNICAL columns work as intended: var ws = SpreadsheetApp.getActiveSpreadsheet().getSheetByName("Raw Data"); var wsTechnical = SpreadsheetApp.getActiveSpreadsheet().getSheetByName("Drop Downs - Technical"); var technical = wsTechnical.getRange(2, 1,w
