What it is
A 10-minute tutorial by Sven Bosau showing how to build an Excel data entry form in Python using PySimpleGUI and pandas, with no VBA or macros. It ends by packaging the script as a standalone program that can be shared with people who do not have Python installed.

I am new new to Python/PySimpleGUI, so sorry if this would be incredibly obvious. (Also, yes, this is code I am using from a Youtube tutorial [this video] , I am not trying to take any credit for the code below.) I have a simple program using pandas, pysimplegui, and openpyxl to input a set of values from the end user (using PySimpleGUI windows) into an Excel sheet; however, there are certain fields that I want to keep constant (such as "date" being today.strftime("%m/%d/%y")). Hi again, just to clarify little bit more, I'm using the following topic : [this video] , to create an excel form using python, and since the program is creating duplicate enteries with same value in 1st column and not checking what is inside, so I want to find a way to check if this entery is already exists, than I will delete it ( in case I want to change data inside ) or use another method for updating same entery instead of creating a duplicate one. Hope you got my point . Thx

I've been trying to connect my Python file to Excel so that the data that is outputted by my Python program gets printed to my Excel file. I've tried adding the key values of my Python program to Excel then connect the two files via pandas but still did not work out for me. I followed this YouTube tutorial: [this video] Here is my code import PySimpleGUI from openpyxl.workbook import Workbook from openpyxl import load_workbook import pandas as pd #wb = Workbook() wb = load_workbook('/Users/safa/Desktop/بيان اسماء المستفيدين (أرشيف)/data2.xlsx') ws = wb.active # Add color to window PySimpleGUI.theme('DarkTeal1') EXCEL_FILE = '/Users/safa/Desktop/بيان اسماء المستفيدين (أرشيف)/data2.xlsx' df = pd.
