What it is
A 26-minute Python tutorial by Tech With Tim on asynchronous programming with asyncio. It covers sync vs async, coroutines, the event loop, the async and await keywords, tasks, and a worked example, aimed at intermediate programmers on Python 3.7+.

For this, I believe you need to use the async module. this video [this video] should help (I was just learning about the same )

I just watch a async/await tutorial video [this video] on youtube. To my understanding of await , if await is in a task, when execute the task it would turn back to the event-loop while it encounter the await inside of the task. So if await inside a for loop(that's say 10 loops), the task would be paused for 10 times, and I should use 10 await in the event-loop in order to finished the task, like this: import asyncio async def print_numbers(): for i in range(10): print(i) await asyncio.sleep(0.25) async def main(): task2 = asyncio.create_task(print_numbers()) for i in range(10): await task2 asyncio.run(main()) But, in fact the task can be done by using only 1 await , like this: async def print_nu

Credit goes to Andrew Stone as shown in this answer [LINK] . Here is how you can stop the while loop on a key press (if you want to exit the program by changing the locked variable to false, change if locked == True to while locked is True AND make the Start function an asynchronous function [this video] ). import sys import threading import keyboard # change what key stops the program PUASE_ON_KEY = "esc" def exit_program(): def on_keyboard_press(key): if key.name == PUASE_ON_KEY: main.status = "pause" user_input = input("Program paused, would you like to continue? (y/n): ") while user_input not in ["y", "n"]: user_input = input("Incorrect input, try either 'y' or 'n': ") if user_input == "y": m
