Why Stack Overflow recommends it
Stack Overflow users link it when answering questions about Flutter lag, stutter and slow rendering, as a practical walkthrough of finding and fixing performance issues.

What it is
A 44-minute Flutter Europe conference talk by Filip Hracik of the Flutter team. He takes a deliberately slow app full of performance problems and fixes them one by one, showing how to diagnose and address jank in Flutter.

Well, from thereon you need to isolate the problem. Remove (or downgrade) packages to isolate the faulty one. You should also check if it's on all page transitions or a just few. If you can pinpoint the problem it'll be much easier. You can check this video by Filip Hracik [this video] about optimizing your app.

I've tried your sample code and It is working fine now. [LINK] I've traced the reported bugs in GitHub and it seems that the issue's were closed. Also, I've found this topic on YouTube interesting, Flutter Europe: Optimizing your Flutter App [this video] whenever you've encountered performance issues in your Flutter app.
Recommends Ferdinand · 2020-11 · Stack Overflow · on “How taxing are loops in flutter?”
Like any programming language, loops are expensive functions to call [LINK] , especially when rendering on the UI (animations, widgets, etc). I suggest you open up your performance overlay and check how expensive rendering that widget is. A simple but KEY rule is to MINIMISE THE USE OF EXPENSIVE WIDGETS , so consider if it is really necessary to run the code block 3 times or to animate. Check out this long but important video [this video] from the fluter team. Finally, as you asked for opinions complex animations for production apps is NOT a great idea, especially if you are working alone!

It totally depends upon how you write and structure your code. GetX just removes the Boilerplate code for you and makes life easier. To make your app faster, avoid using Functional widgets inside ListView/ScrollView. Here's a video which might help you improve the performance of your app: [this video]

You can pass object to another widget in navigation like this: onTap: () { Navigator.of(context).push( MaterialPageRoute( builder: (BuildContext context) { return ProductDetails( name: name, img: img, ); }, ), ); }, then in ProductDetails widget you can get parameter like this: class ProductDetails extends StatelessWidget { final String name; final String img; const ProductDetails({Key key, @required this.name, @required this.img}) : super(key: key); @override Widget build(BuildContext context) { return Container( child: Column( children: [ Text( "$name", style: TextStyle( fontSize: 20.0, fontWeight: FontWeight.w900, ), maxLines: 2, ), Image.asset( "$img", fit: BoxFit.cover, ), ], ), ); } }
