How to Make a Battery Protection Circuit (over-discharge protection)
Why Electrical Engineering Stack Exchange recommends it
Electronics Stack Exchange askers and answerers link it as a simple, cheap recipe for cutting off a Li-ion or LiPo battery at low voltage using an alarm module and a relay.

What it is
A DIY Perks tutorial showing how to build a simple lithium battery over-discharge protection circuit. It pairs a cheap LiPo low-voltage alarm module with a relay so the battery is disconnected before it drains too far, and links circuit diagrams and safety notes.

I know it's for a Lithium Ion battery, but could you get a Li-po battery alarm, and when the alarm sounds, activate a relay to disable the battery connection to the Arduino? I saw a video about this a while back, but I'm not sure if it would work with a Lithium Ion battery. Here is a link to the video, it may help you: [this video]

I have an Arduino board with a pump attached to it, and for powering both, I'm using a 18650 battery cell with a DC-DC Boost Converter. I plan to leave it working even when I'm not home, and I know that if the battery over discharges, there will be trouble, so I would like to design an over-discharge protection board. I can see from this video [this video] that it is not a big deal to build one, however, I don't have a battery alarm buzzer. Is there any way to build such a protection board without that part? Or is there any simpler way to build such a circuit with the components that I have: a relay ( JQC-3F(T73) [LINK] ), some diodes (N4007 type), capacitors(22, 47 and 100uF) a potentiometer, a

I am trying to make a PCB for a drone run off of Li-ion batteries for a project of mine. I wanted to protect the drone and cells from an Undervoltage situation and cut off the Li-ion battery from the motors. I had some ideas that I wanted to ask about: This was fairly easy to implement on my PCB. I would use an external low-voltage alarm module such as this one Li-ion Battery Low Voltage Buzzer Alarm on Amazon [LINK] . This video on a battery protection circuit [this video] is the basis for my cutoff part, I would just need something like the voltage alarm to activate the relay. Should I just buy the modules since I don't know if this would be the right call as I wanted to integrate the voltage a
