You can do this with genIcam API. genIcam is a generic interface for cameras (USB, GigE, CameraLink, etc.). It consists of multiple modules but we'll focus on GenTL (transport layer). You can read more on GenTL documentation HERE [LINK] . I recommend using either the Basler API or the Baumer API, which are GenTL consumers (producers and consumers are described in the GenTL docs). I used the Baumer API, but both should work. NOTE: I'm using a Baumer HXG20 mono. You can do this! I used the Baumer GAPI SDK, which is a GenTL consumer. GenTL is a generic transport layer, which is a module within genIcam. You can read up on GenTL HERE [LINK] . Using a GenTL consumer like Baumer's GAPI or Basler's API makes things a lot easier. They should work with any GigE camera. I made a more comprehensive way to use Baumer's GAPI SDK in another answer HERE [LINK] , so I will give a summary of what you need. You need to enable jumbo packets. You may also need to configur

I'm trying to use OpenCV via NuGet packages with Visual Studio 2015 and I can't seem to get everything configured. I'm not sure if I'm making a mistake somewhere or what I'm trying is not supported. A little background, I made this tutorial a while back: [this video] [LINK] And I'd like to update this to use NuGets if possible. I use NuGets on the job every day so I'm familiar with the concept, but I've only previously used NuGets with .Net (Visual Basic or C#) applications. I'm trying to make this work with plane jane C++ OpenCV, not within a .NET or UWP app. For the record, in a separate .Net test project, I tried the EmguCV NuGet package: [LINK] With Visual Studio 2015 and everything worked as

In C++ you have to download the library and link them in the compilation and linking process (when creating an executable from source code). The C++ bind is done with python.h library for c++ . using this binding OpenCV module is created for python. For learning gaussian blur , etc. you can learn image processing . The methods of Opencv are kept in their respective files. like opencv2/highgui.hpp for OpenCV GUI like imshow . you can import them to C++ with #include <opencv2/highgui.hpp> (the methods are separated to different files to reduce importing unnecessary methods). CMake is like a scripting language(its a tool) where you can write a script on how the tool should build the executable
