try ursina is a very very simple library that you can use to write a simple 3d project.it so simple in fact you can make something like Minecraft with about 100-200 lines of code! making Minecraft in python: [this video] documentation: [LINK] here is one of the demo projects code(Minecraft clone) ''' Disclaimer: This solution is not scalable for creating a big world. Creating a game like Minecraft requires specialized knowledge and is not as easy to make as it looks. You'll have to do some sort of chunking of the world and generate a combined mesh instead of separate blocks if you want it to run fast. You can use the Mesh class for this. You can then use blocks with colliders like in this example

I'm following a tutorial: [this video] and I don't know what I'm doing wrong at the 22:14 mark. The floor he made is flat and together, mine is tilted 90 degrees. The engine is pretty new and I can't add a tag for Ursina so I apologize if I'm tagging different tags. from ursina import * from ursina.prefabs.first_person_controller import FirstPersonController class Voxel(Button): def __init__(self, position = (0,0,0)): super().__init__( parent = scene, position = position, medel = 'cube', origin_y = 0.5, texture = 'white_cube', color = color.white, highlight_color = color.lime) app = Ursina() for z in range(8): for x in range(8): voxel = Voxel(position = (x,0,z)) player = FirstPersonController() a

I'm using the Ursina engine to create a 3D game. However, when I try to load the FirstPersonCharacter, all I got is a grey background (normal) and a very small magenta square, in the center, tilted at 45°. What is that ? I was first trying to make my own mechanics for a first person character, move the camera according to the mouse position (I have this), and I was playing with math and stuff for movements... I was looking at this video ( [this video] ) for totally something else, and I found out about the FirstPersonController. But, with the (almost) same code as him, it doesn't work ! What's that issue, has someone already ran into it ? Is FirstPersonController broken ? Or is my brain broken ?

Hey there recently I was learning to use ursina from here [this video] . But if I was to add more blocks/cubes the game lags quite a bit and I found that by combining the meshes of all the cubes and rendering a one hole mesh it will not lag that much But the Problem is that I can't find a way to combine the mesh of cubes into one big mesh Here's my code: def update(): global block_pick, player, block_pickOriginal try: if block_pick != block_pickOriginal: a = Text(blockL[block_pick - 1], scale=1.5, position=Vec2(-.0, -0.35)) block_pickOriginal = block_pick destroy(a, delay=.5) except: pass # print(player.world_position[2] // .5 // 2) # print(round(player.x) // .5) if held_keys['left mouse'] or hel
