so im looking to make a melting wax material, I figured out the wax part. but not the waves and the dark wax drips in it. i would love to find out how to animate it as well. I tried the wave node but it was not satisfactory. This has the texture i'm looking for in it [this video] Thank you :)

Holla, Right, so I'm curious on how to achieve a certain effect via two different approaches. What I'm sort of trying to achieve: [this video] Case 1: I'm looking for a method for particles to exit the emitter, follow a path until near the target object, and afterwards be attracted and stick to the surface of the object, or fill the volume. Case 2: Same thing, but closer to the Daredevil intro, where the particles fill the exterior of the shape from bottom up. I couldn't find anything remotely close online, so any help would be hugely appreciated!

I'm trying to make a simple version of the masking technique used here: [this video] in (0:00 --> 0:06) is there a way to achieve this effect using a mask modifier or anything else? Thanks!
