Yes! In fact, I go through this exact process in the getting started videoS (part 1) [this video] , (part 2) [LINK] , which I recommend you check out if you haven't yet. But, generally speaking, you can test the "Open my app if I have it installed" flow simply by clicking on a dynamic link. If your app is installed on the device, it should open up just fine; even if it's not a published app. If you want to test the non-installed flow, this is pretty easy, too. First, give your Firebase project an app store ID in your project settings. It can be any valid App store ID -- it doesn't have to be for your app. Then generate a new dynamic link. This time, when you click on this new link, it should take

You could try following the troubleshooting steps mentioned in the Firecasts video "Getting started with Firebase Dynamic Links on iOS - Pt.1 (Firecasts)" at 7:54 ( [this video] ). I was having the same issue and everything worked fine after: deleting the app restarting my phone reinstalling the app Currently the bug radar ( [LINK] ) is still open.

I finally figured it out. The code was fine. It was an issue related to the dynamic link. I had a couple links setup in Firebase because I had to create a new Bundle ID at one point. When I deleted out the old one in Firebase the email link started working. It shows up in my app association site like this, and oddly still does even though I deleted out the old link, but at least it works now! {"applinks":{"apps":[],"details":[{"appID":"TEAMID.com.OLDBUNDLEIDENTIFIER.APPNAME","paths":["NOT / /*","/*"]},{"appID":"TEAMID.com.NEWBUNDLEIDENTIFIER.APPNAME","paths":["NOT / / ","/ "]}]}} UPDATE: My full code to implement passwordless email login is below. It was painful for me to piece together usin

Steps: Delete your app Restart your device. Reinstall your app and test. As per firebase, sometimes error comes while downloading "apple-app-site-association" file associated with your domain. That's why it happens. Check out this video: [this video] for debugging help. Setup Dynaminc link from start: [this video] If you have completed the above-mentioned steps, please check if you have the right methods implemented in your AppDelegate file. Method 1: func application(_ app: UIApplication, open url: URL, options: [UIApplication.OpenURLOptionsKey : Any] = [:]) -> Bool { if DynamicLinks.dynamicLinks().shouldHandleDynamicLink(fromCustomSchemeURL: url) { let dynamicLink = DynamicLinks.dynamicLinks().dynam

Finally I am able to resolve the issue. The initial step is to create a universal link in Firebase console. Once the universal link is created , we have to do following changes in XCode: Enable associated domains under capablities Include URL types Must verify your Team ID that you would have provided in firebase console. Once the universal link setup is completed in Xcode, we can do build and run and check the working of Universal link. i.e. clicking the link should open the app (provided app is already installed). and it should not open the safari browser. If clicking the link opens safari browser , then there is a problem with the Universal link setup. The below tutorial is very useful: [

To get your dynamic links to work properly on iOS, you need to set up: associated domains This property sets up in custom entitlements file and looks like <key>com.apple.developer.associated-domains</key> <array> <string>applinks:myapp.page.link</string> </array> Url types In info.plist add URL types that firebase will use by default <key>CFBundleURLTypes</key> <array> .... Some others url schemes <dict> <key>CFBundleTypeRole</key> <string>Editor</string> <key>CFBundleURLName</key> <string>Bundle ID</string> <key>CFBundleURLSchemes</key> <array> <string>your.bundle.id</string> </array> </dict> .... </array> Also, you should add Team ID (required) and App Store ID (if your app not published,

I've looked at other previous questions about this topic, and I haven't found the solution for my problem. I've followed this Getting started with Firebase Dynamic Links on iOS [this video] , however if I click on the universal link for testing, [LINK] , I get the following message: Invalid Dynamic Link Requested URL ( [LINK] ) must be a parsable and complete DynamicLink. If you are the developer of this app, ensure that your Dynamic Links domain is correctly configured and that the path component of this URL is valid The previous message makes me think that the created page created by Firebase is created yet, however when I visit the page: [LINK] , I get the following data: {"applinks":{"apps":[

I am trying to get Firebase Dynamic links that I have integrated on my ios app to open. Following the youtube tutorial ( [this video] ) I have downloaded my app onto my phone from Xcode. When I try to open up the link I automatically get redirected into safari browser and I'm presented with this image.
