Why Stack Overflow recommends it

Stack Overflow users link it when pointing Android beginners to a free video series for getting started and learning basic app design.

Recommended by 3 people across 3 different months, 2011 to 2013.

What it is

A 70-minute recorded class from Marakana's Android Bootcamp, presented by Marko Gargenta and published by InfoQ. It gives an overview of the Android software stack and the Dalvik VM, and walks through setting up the Android SDK with Eclipse.

I started out with some ideas that I wanted to build and by watching this series: [this video] It's a great series that covers some basics as well as some mid-level topics. Your DownloadData will handle efficient downloads from the Internet, as the radio loves your battery. The Content Provider will work kinda the same way, but in feeding data to the UI activity of your app. The basic recommended type of design. Hope thi
