I have experience building web applications using React and Python Flask together, so perhaps I can help. I do not know of a way to directly use Python on client-side web applications, but there are certainly plenty of ways to use Python on the backend. The most popular Python web frameworks are Flask [LINK] and Django [LINK] . If so could you please give me some links for learning that please YouTuber Corey Schafer has a great YouTube tutorial series on Flask [this video] , which I would wholeheartedly recommend. Once you get more comfortable with web development in Python, I think the website [LINK] has great tutorials for both specific questions (e.g. Token-Based Authentication in Flask [LINK]

If you go the flask route, I highly recommend that you watch the Corey Shafer series on [this video] . It's a solid series that will get you underway quickly, and there are many helpful notes from other viewers in the comment section. Additionally, since I presume you'll build your models elsewhere and look to score them on your site, you will likely want to use pickle to store the model objects after development, and then load the model objects using pickle within your flask config.py .

Yeah, any text editor can be customized for programming. However, I would recommend **Sublime Text** because it is fast, easy to use and set up. Check out this video on setting up sublime for Flask [this video] .

A backend option seems to suit you. You can use a multitude of languages for your backend, such as Python ( Flask [LINK] or Django [LINK] ), PHP ( Laravel [LINK] ), or Node.js ( Express [LINK] ). I would suggest using Flask, since it was the easiest for me to start with. I would suggest using Corey Schafer's tutorial on Flask [this video] for this. It teaches many important Flask concepts. Along with that, you can use an SQL database to store your meal plans. Then, you can implement a search feature yourself, or use a tool such as Algolia [LINK] to implement it.

I've been following along to Corey Schafer's awesome youtube tutorial [this video] on the basic flaskblog. In addition to Corey's code, I`d like to add a logic, where users have to verify their email-address before being able to login. I've figured to do this with the URLSafeTimedSerializer from itsdangerous, like suggested by prettyprinted here [LINK] . The whole token creation and verification process seems to work. Unfortunately due to my very fresh python knowledge in general, I can't figure out a clean way on my own how to get that saved into the sqlite3 db. In my models I've created a Boolean Column email_confirmed with default=False which I am intending to change to True after the verifica

You can find several resources on the internet itself which includes: walkthrough tutorials/lectures -- that are either free on platforms like youtube or paid-ones like that on udemy , udacity and others. blog posts: Providing a detailed overview of the fundamentals and to complement the same, do a project for the same. Flask Documentation itself: Since the best resource to consult would be the documentation itself. Now, that it is clear that you're starting out. It is highly likely that a walk-through tutorial will be an ideal choice to start with. Among free ones, I'd personally recommend: Cory Schafer on [this video] as a starting point. Flask can be used for making realy simple websites with only basic text on them. But if you want a more developed website with more functions and a nicer desing you need to use html and css, and than you can use flask and python to implement 'logic' to them. Here is a python flask tutorial: [this video]

So, here's a file I made (flaskblog.py): from flask import Flask app = Flask(__name__) @app.route("/") def hello(): return "<h1>Home Page</h1>" Here's how I first ran it: $ export FLASK_APP=flaskblog.py $ flask run Here's how I ran it in debug mode: $ export FLASK_APP=flaskblog.py $ export FLASK_DEBUG=1 $ flask run Now I want to run the application directly using python. I first updated the .py file: from flask import Flask app = Flask(__name__) @app.route("/") def hello(): return "<h1>Home Page</h1>" if __name__ == "__main__": app.run() This is the command I used to run the python file: $ python3 flaskblog.py It worked fine. Now I want to run the application in debug mode. So, I updated the
