From the error, seems like django is not installed on your virtual environment. I would advice you watch this video, if you follow the steps in the tutorial everything should work and you will see where you did wrong. [this video]

Well i had the same issue as you did and someone replied me this It isn't a huge deal if you are just running a single server, mostly to help you identify a server with local networking. Some things like mail servers will use your hostname unless you specify otherwise. This is an example of somewhere I saw that done [this video] My original query why do some people set hostname and some dont? whats the use? hostnamectl set-hostname

I've followed this deploy tutorial [this video] of Django for Apache, and did everything as in there. When I try to enter the page with server's ip, I get Forbidden You don't have permission to access / on this server. Apache/2.4.29 (Ubuntu) Server at <my-ip> Port 80 Running the app with python manage.py runserver 0.0.0.0:8000 works fine and I can access the app. Via the apache2 logs I got: Current thread 0x00007fc84606fbc0 (most recent call first): [Wed Aug 14 01:11:51.141895 2019] [core:notice] [pid 31839:tid 140498145049536] AH00051: child pid 32108 exit signal Aborted (6), possible coredump in /etc/apache2 $preter may not be able to be initialized correctly. I followed this [this video] tutorial and made sure I'm typing and doing everything perfectly. However I'm on GoogleCloudPlatform and I could see the application while I was running server with 0.0.0.0:8000 but I had to enable/create firewall to let me see it. My http permissions on Google Cloud Platform is default. The site just doesn't load and give Gateway Timeout after a while. But even though I run server with 0.0.0.0:8000 I can see the page. Is there any settings I need to enable on GoogleCloudPlatform? I haven't followed the ufw firewall part in the video though so nothing related to firewall on the server itself. while running manage.py check --deploy I'm getting these warnings ?: (securi

I have an Apache2 HTTP Server set up on a Ubuntu Linux Server according to Corey Schafer's youtube playlist about Django [this video] to serve a django application (A Hobby-Project to learn Django) via WSGI. The server is set-up to use HTTPS instead of HTTP. I would like to also use this HTTP Server to deploy a Single-Page-Application (SPA) developed with Angular 10. I am trying to have this configuration satisfy 3 criteria: Serve my django application Serve my Angular SPA Serve the Angular SPA without me changing the index.html file of the angular SPA (e.g. by modifying the src-urls used in the js-script-tags) Point 3 is mostly there so I can do quick and easy deployment of updates to my SPA by

A little bit of context to my problem... I'm trying to deploy my django application following a tutorial ( [this video] ) which uses linode to setup a linux apache server, and after following the steps, it always results in the same error, 403 Forbidden: You don't have permission to access this resource . I've followed the steps in this guide roughly 6 times now and I've determined that I'm definitely not doing anything the guy didn't do. Something worth mentioning is that in the tutorial, Ubuntu 18.10 is being used, however I don't have Ubuntu 18.10 available, so I've tried it using Ubuntu 18.04, 20.04 and 21.10. In my sixth and latest attempt, I am using Ubuntu 21.10 I've also tried running the
