You can try this: { test: /\.css$/, use: [{ loader: MiniCssExtractPlugin.loader, options: { publicPath: (resourcePath, context) => { return path.relative(path.dirname(resourcePath), context) + '/'; } } }, 'css-loader' ] } and new MiniCssExtractPlugin({ filename: "[name].css", chunkFilename: "[id].css", ignoreOrder: false }) It is working with me All credit to this guy [this video] !

as far as I know import and export only work with modules. in order to overcome that, you can use Webpack for that, which you can basically use export and import between files, and webpack bundles them all together in one file. this is a tutorial for beginners on how to set it up if you are interested: [this video]

When I run the command npm run build , I expect that index.html should be copied into dist as in this tutorial at 10:00: [this video] However nothing happens, no warning and no errors. Here's the config: const HtmlWebpackPlugin = require('html-webpack-plugin'); module.export ={ mode: 'development', module: { rules: [ { test: /.html$/, use: [ { loader: 'html-loader', options: {minimize: true} } ] } ] }, plugins: [ new HtmlWebpackPlugin({ template: './src/index.html', filename:'./index.html' }), ], } Here's my complete code: [LINK]
