What it is
A short 2016 promo video from the Firebase channel introducing the Firebase Realtime Database, a cloud database that stores data and syncs changes to all connected devices within milliseconds. It gives a high-level overview aimed at web and mobile app developers.

Singing in/up with an email is important for almost every app that requires a social interaction. In the past, developers often used Parse (backend-provider) as to implement a login system. But, Parse is closing down soon. So, here we have another solution, as someone mentioned, "Firebase". Firebase allows you to quickly create a login system integrated with email, Facebook, Github, Google, you name it. You are also able to store user information such as photos and personal information using Firebase's core feature known as 'Real time database' and "Storage". Firebase [this video] has some great videos. Maybe watch the video on Firebase for SQL devs [LINK] to learn about flattening your DB

I don't think refreshing the page every 15 seconds is good user experience. Why not use a service that's tailored for this kind of work. Firebase Realtime Database [this video] is one very good option, that allows you to have realtime updates in your app. And it's run by Google so that has to be a good thing right. Otherwise, you'll have to implement your own server-side script to do the updating for you. Let me remind you that refreshing the same page over and over again, especially on a mobile network can be costly for both you and the user.

You could use Firebase Realtime [this video] which allows you to import your database as JSON files. You can pull posts using their JavaScriptSDK (which also supports pagination from the get go): db.ref('posts').startAt(0).endAt(100) This will return your first 100 posts. You can also filter really easily. Here's an example for getting the most viewed posts: var mostViewedPosts = db.ref('posts').orderByChild('metrics/views');
Cites Moez · 2019-01 · Stack Overflow · on “How to update/refresh TextView to show updated Json data every second?”
The fastest answer would be setting a timer each second to query the database for data, and update the view. If you're looking for a more optimized, complete, documented and easier solution, I suggest you use firebase, which offers services like Realtime database : [this video] Of course there are other alternatives like RethinkDB. You should also look up websocket since they are similar approach to this kind of real time update problem. But firebase is perfect for this in my opinion.
