What it is
A 13-minute screen-recorded tutorial from the Ksk Royal channel showing how to install Ubuntu 20.04 LTS alongside Windows 10 on the same drive. It follows the legacy BIOS method, partitions the disk, and uses EasyBCD to add Ubuntu to the Windows boot menu.

I have installed Ubuntu like that (next to Windows) : root partition swap partition home partition mount point on root partition I want to display the Windows boot menu at startup, but I don't know how to add the Ubuntu entry. I can't use EasyBCD because I have UEFI bios. Can you tell me how to add Ubuntu to the Windows boot menu please? I watched this tutorial -> [this video]

There's one more solution for this: Boot into Windows and download easybcd application and then run it as an administrator. Make an Ubuntu entry in easybcd and then add that entry with Windows in edit boot menu . Uncheck skip boot menu option. Then test it whether it works, and if not then repair boot files through it making sure that Ubuntu entry is still alongside the Windows entry. For detailed steps see the section of this YouTube video [this video] from 9:16 minutes to 10:00.

[this video] This will help...also if rufus is giving problem, it did have problems when I was trying to install it on laptop dell Inspiron 5559 I don't know why it was doing it just gave a black screen, then after a time I tried with another software BalenaEtcher then it worked. Go to CMD as an administrator and type this command. bcdedit /set {bootmgr} path \EFI\ubuntu\grubx64.efi it will enable the bootloader so you can choose which OS you want to use... It worked for me too.

I don't know whether this will help you, since you asked this a lot earlier from when I'm seeing it. I've been trying to look for the same and at last thought of going with this guide of "Installation of Ubuntu 20.04 LTS-Dual Boot". This might solve your query for selecting the Boot Loader. I was trying to dual boot Ubuntu 21.04 with windows 10 on my HP elitebook-folio-9480m. I was following this tutorial [this video] to do the same. After creating the partitions for the installation process. The system gave me a "fatal error" about some issues regarding the boot partition as far as i remember. However in another window it said that the installation was complete and I needed to restart the computer. As I did so my pc would boot-up, show the "hp" logo then show a message in the top left saying "Reset System" and repeat. I have tried and enter the boot menu but to no avail.
