Why Blender Stack Exchange recommends it

Blender Stack Exchange users link it whenever someone asks why Cycles renders are slow or noisy, since it collects many practical speed-ups in one video.

What it is

A 47-minute Blender tutorial by Andrew Price of Blender Guru covering 18 ways to cut Cycles render times. It walks through sampling, light bounces, tile size, portals, denoising and other scene optimizations, and was made around Blender 2.79.

How to reduce render time Reduce light bounces How to: In the Render tab in the outliner there is this section called light Paths. In Light Paths there is a section called Bounces. change the Min to 0 and the max to 1 [LINK] Use Portals How to: If you have windows in your scene, you can Shift+A to add an area lamp. Go into the lamp settings Then put a check in portals Reduce samples. How to: In the render tab open the samples section and reduce the render samples I got this info from this video [this video] on how to speed up render time. Hope this helps!

Actually There Is Many Things .. There is a trick that you can recombine images in post editing with blender. Then you can combine 10 images or so, (using animated seed settings). So you render a still image as animation images with lower sample rates and recombine them. it takes a bit of manual work to recombine, render speed is slightly lower (bhv rebuilds between frames). for the rest doable. in the beginning some people hoped to reduce noise. or in theory one could use this method to increasingly improve a real animation render if you store the images in different folders (by some scripting). But you might also check the latest blender builds and the denoiser, unless you do a lot of diamont /glass reflections such a sam

Here's a video on how to find out what GPU you have! [LINK] You probably have a Nvidia graphics card, and in that case I'd consider anything above a GTX 720 to be pretty good. Although, I have like a GTX 650 or something around there and it's still faster than for rendering than my CPU. Another video that I saw recently was really helpful for me in reducing my render times, I highly recommend watching it might help you out. Just get prepared for a cringy intro! Lol [this video]

it depends of your gpu/workstation, gtx 1060 doesn't handle 4k well, you should try to reduce render samples , you should take a look to this tutorial made by Blender guru, aimed to get a smaller render time: click here [this video] , by the way if you want something closer to real time rendering, you can reduce samples in preview mode, then you could use rendered mode in blender you could try: rendered: 128 preview: 32 or 64 but be careful of it, the less samples, less quality you'll have but you will have more shorter render times [LINK] [LINK] here [LINK] is another tutorial to achieve similar "real time rendering" workflow like evee engine used in last version of blender, but instead, in the

Is there any Option to set to make Rendering faster for These purposes (it's really slow and I think These Action should be easy for blender) Here are some of the settings that might be helpful: Reduce samples: Reducing sample as low as possible will render your scene faster, but it will turn your render noisy, so there's an option for Denoising. There is question [LINK] asked previously in which it is explained that how we can use Denoising with adjusting no. of Samples and Clamping. This will reduce your render time almost to half. [LINK] Simplify: According to the Blender Manual it automatically scales textures down so that they are no larger than the values chosen. This can help reduce co

AI Denoisers use algorithms to guess which pixels are fireflies, and what colour that pixel was supposed to be. The algorithms are limited to the data that it can collect from the Denoising Data and the surrounding pixels. Thus, if insufficient data has been passed to it (not enough samples), the denoiser will create a "washed out" effect where you're losing detail. In truth, the denoiser will almost always cause loss of detail, it's just that when the sampling is high enough, the loss of detail is negligible. You haven't done anything wrong with the compositor nodes, you're going to have to increase the samples in this case. If you're worried about render times, check out this video [this video]

Your issue lies in power management. Your operating system (Windows 10) is currently instructed to limit performance of your CPU and GPU and in order to save power and extend battery life and longevity. It sucks. How to fix it: Navigate your way to Control Panel Go to System and Security Go to Power Options Go to Change Plan Settings Choose Advanced Power Settings Verify that minimum processor state and maximum processor state are set to 100% all the time Set cooling policy to active Disable PCI Link State Power Management I don't have Nvidia graphics, so I can only assume there is a power management section in the NVidia Geforce Experience or something Since you're on a laptop, you should a
