[this video] I'm watching this tutorial and I did everything the same as the guy in the video did until the "Player Jumping" part, when his character can jump whenever he presses the space button, but for me it doesn't work the same way. Can somebody help or tell me what is the problem? using System.Collections; using System.Collections.Generic; using UnityEngine; public class Player : MonoBehaviour { [SerializeField] private float moveForce = 10f; [SerializeField] private float jumpForce = 11f; private float movementX; private Rigidbody2D myBody; private SpriteRenderer sr; private Animator anim; private string WALK_ANIMATION = "Walk"; private void Awake() { myBody = GetComponent<Rigidbody2D>();

I'm trying to "animate" (yes, I'm using the animate capabilities of Unity but I'm only changing the sprite from one still frame to another still frame) my character jumping in Unity. According to my code, everything should be running properly but for some reason, nothing happens in-game when I hit the Jump button (player is jumping but the sprite isn't changing). I'm following along with this tutorial [this video] and I've tried several others explaining how to use Unity's Animator and Animation windows but nothing seems to be working to change the sprite. My code: using System.Collections; using System.Collections.Generic; using UnityEngine; public class Player : MonoBehaviour { [SerializeField]

For context, I got this code from this tutorial [this video] , particularly at 2:27:28. I have two classes, Player and Warrior . I want the Warrior class to inherit from the Player class. The Player class looks like this: public class Player: MonoBehaviour { //Variables and Properties private string _playerName; public string pName { get => _playerName; set => _playerName = value; } private int _playerHealth; public int Health { get => _playerHealth ; set => _playerHealth = value ; } private int _playerPower; public int Power { get => _playerPower; set => _playerPower = value ; } //Constructors public Player() { } //Constructor 1 public Player(string name, int health, int power) //Constructor 2 {

I am following this tutorial [this video] for reference, particularly at 4:03:34. My issue is that my player wont jump sometimes when I hit the space bar. It seems to be working just fine for the dude in the tutorial, but its not working for me. Here is the code: using System.Collections; using System.Collections.Generic; using UnityEditor.Profiling.Memory.Experimental; using UnityEngine; public class Player : MonoBehaviour { [SerializeField] private float moveForce = 10f; [SerializeField] private float jumpForce = 11f; private float movementX; [SerializeField] private Rigidbody2D myBody; private SpriteRenderer sr; private Animator anim; private string walk_Animation = "Walk"; private bool isGrou
