I'd say the weapon itself could destroy Coruscant, if it got in range and was able to fire. Even if Coruscant had some sort of shield or were somehow more resiliant, I doubt the amount of resiliance would matter much, since being able to turn Alderaan into an asteroid field in one shot, implies it could do at least life-extinguishing damage to a much much more resistant target. So it's definitely a possible danger, and one that therefore would have been considered and made unlikely in many ways. For example, they wouldn't have put Tarkin in charge if they had any notion that Tarkin would ever do that. Even if he did, I think it's most likely he'd be overthown first by some level of command a

In the movies, there is not a lot of gratitude thrown around, in fact, quite the opposite: Why would I want to get promoted in the Empire if that just meant I would be force choked for any small indiscretion? Surely there was an upside to moving up that high in the ranks, right? Maybe bigger bonuses, discounts on woodo hide, or free vacations on Hoth?

Like @NKCambell said, spoofing or otherwise fooling the local security is usually the explanation in situations where it isn't full-on battleships. There are systems like BoSS [LINK] in place to try to keep track of ships, but usually our protagonists are just too good at evading capture. In both the Endor and Scarif scene it is made clear that there are early warning systems, long distance scanning and access codes in place to try to stop unauthorized acccess to sensitive installations. Even Cloud City greets the Falcon with warning shots and escorts them to a landing platform, so it isn't alien to the galaxy. Before the battle of Hoth, the rebels discover the imperial forces when Admiral O

Partial answer: unclear, but it behaves like a sound in the room I haven't found any sources that describe this sound in-universe, but when the sound does appear in canon sources, it's only audible when the camera is near the target of the Force power. It plays in this scene where Vader is choking Captain Needa while in the same room (0:28): ...but it doesn't play in this scene where Vader is remotely choking Admiral Ozzel, who we see on a viewscreen (0:52): It does, however, play in these scenes where a hologram of a Force-user is choking or throwing around someone who's in the same room as the camera: This implies that the sound is either diegetic and only occurs at the site of choking, or
