Take a look at the XSP Starter Kit [LINK] on OpenNTF and the XPages SDK [LINK] to setup an eclipse environment for plugin development. You'll also want Eclipse IDE for RCP and RAP Developers [LINK] . Install the starter kit and SDK into eclipse and you should be all set. The starter kit is a sample plugin with all kinds of examples of phase listeners, components, etc. Once you want to deploy your plugin, create an update site from within eclipse and use the Update Site NSF available on your server install to place your update site. Once that's done, you can replicate that NSF to any other servers that may need the plugin. For more information about the starter kit, take a look at this slide

How are you debugging? In Domino Designer, unless the source files are available, it's probably going to the only code it can see. I debug my plugins from Eclipse, using the Domino Debug Plugin. Niklas Heidloff's video is very straightforward [this video] (You won't need the IBM Java install Niklas installs to debug your plugin)

I am trying to set up an environment in order to "play around with" developing my own tools for XPages and adding to the extension libraries. I have been using this youtube video [this video] as a basis for setting up the environment. As a few people in the comments have pointed out, it is no longer possible to get the "IBM Development Package for Eclipse" skd50 version; only the ..70 version is available. Since I was trying to add to a later version of the ExtLibs, I decided to give it a try anyway. After importing the ExtLib projects, I had thousands of compile errors due to not having the correct sdk. I have also not found any hint of something that could help on openNTF.org. Is anyone aware o
