Why Blender Stack Exchange recommends it
Blender Stack Exchange users link it as a reference when asking or answering how to roll, coil or unroll a plane or paper-like mesh, though one asker notes it is not physically accurate.

What it is
A short 2015 Blender tutorial from AgenZasBrothers showing how to animate a flat object rolling up, using a curve-based setup. It is a step-by-step walkthrough in English, about five minutes long.

I, and many like me learned something from your answer. So thanks :) Here's something nice on the same topic, just in case you haven't seen this already [this video]

Doing something like that manually would be relatively hard, but I would recommend using proportional editing ( O , Scroll Wheel to adjust strength). That should be able to do most of it. The next best option would be sculpting. Try using the 'grab brush' to get the overall shape, then just play around with various brushes like the clay brush or the draw brush to get some smaller details, just fiddle with those until you find what you like. Try taking a look at this [LINK] and this [this video] . One of them is a tutorial for animating, you probably won't find much specifically on modelling the paper, but you might find some things in there to do with how he modelled it, and the other short one i

Is there a way with a quick way i can make it. Any suggestion or help. Thanks
Critical eiton · 2019-05 · Blender Stack Exchange · on “how to animate a cylinder unrolling like carpet / toilet paper”
I wish to take a thin rectangle / plane with solidify modifier, roll it into a cylinder and then animate it unrolling. For example, imagine a rolled up carpet or a roll of toilet paper. The tutorials [this video] I've found so far do not do the rolling / unrolling in a physically correct manner. (The coiling action happens in the center and the outer roll diameter stays the same the whole time.) Is there a simple and easy way to roll/unroll this cylinder back into a flat rectangle? Currently, it's a rectangle with a curve modifier applied. [LINK] [LINK] Let me know if there's anything I can add to clarify what I'm looking for.
