ANIMATION using SOFT BODY Simulations!!! | Blender 3D Tutorial
Why Blender Stack Exchange recommends it
Blender Stack Exchange users link it when someone needs chains, cables or necklaces to hang and swing naturally and rigid body or cloth setups fall apart.

What it is
A 14-minute Blender tutorial by Lewis Animation on using soft body physics to animate a chain necklace with a pendant. It walks through meshing, shaping, simulating, connecting and adding overlapping action, and notes the same method works for swinging signs, cables, ropes and lamps.

I've already tried to give rigid body to a chain and was enable to achieve something good (links were exploding, shaking, etc), maybe someone will explain how to do it but I suspect you need to fake with some trick, like the one I explain in the linked video, or maybe check this one: [this video]

I Love this community! As you can see, moonboots answer fixed my problem. Thanks! However as I mentioned, I was getting increasingly unsure if cloth was the way for me to go. So if anyone else is wondering about making this, I ended up using softbody following this tutorial: Cable Tutorial [this video] But I allready got use for what I learned here! Thanks, guys!!!

My approach was too simple.. :-).. The 'right' way to do it apparently is through simulation.. Don't know if the complexity is worth it for me yet.. Youtube: [this video]
