Depending on what you want, your best option may be to just make a procedural sky. Here is a great tutorial for that: [LINK] Making the clouds procedural will save you a ton on render times. Although, if you are trying to fly through the clouds, they would need to be more volumetric and realistic. Here is a great tutorial by BlenderGuru just for that: [this video] To make a simple cloud all you really need to do is connect a Volume Scatter node to your materials volume input. I'm trying to rotate my cloud group like in the tutorial I'm following but I can't figure out how to select just the cloud group. I go into the other layer like he does, hit A to select all but I'm lot from there. Here is the tutorial and I'm at [this video] 33 minutes in

Im following a blender guru tutorial [this video] on clouds, but my displaced plane does not light properly once set as a volume (neither scatter nor principled volume works). You can see it working for him at 20:54 For some reason when you move around the viewport in rendered view, the area which is lighted is always changing, but never lights it completely. Even though the lighting and plane are staying constant. (Isn't fixed in an actual render) I thought it was a normals issue, but flipping doesn't seem to fix it. Based on other forum posts I've also changed the camera clipping values, but this also doesn't fix it. Here's a download of the blender file [LINK] [LINK] [LINK]
