There is a way around this. You can convert photoshop custom brushes (ABR files) into PNG files using the free OpenSource programme ABRViewer [LINK] . Alternatively just save a masked PNG that you want to use as a brush. Using Grease Pencil in Blender 2.8 make sure you're in Draw mode. Then click on the Active tool tab. Change brush name and make other changes to settings you might want. [LINK] Then add a new material (in material tab). Under the checked Stroke section change Style to Texture. [LINK] Under this will appear an Open box. Click this to browse for the brush PNG you want to use. [LINK] I change Mode Type to Dots. I got these textured brushes for Grease Pencil by Daniel Martinez: [this video] I can import in the brushes from the file using append method shown in the last video on this page: [LINK] After, importing the brushes I can work with all the brushes imported. But, as soon as we quit the application and open the file again we only get the brush that was used on the selected 2d layer. Is there a way to manage the brushes in Blender 2.80. ? It would be great to have library panel where we can import and export the custom brushes at the application level and not the file level. Note: I am using Blender 2.80 on Linux mint installed using snap packages.

I think I'm missing something elementary, but I'm unable to figure out how to deform grease pencil strokes in 3D as demonstrated in the following videos: [this video] (seconds 30-38) [LINK] (seconds 50-54) I have managed to do something similar using bendy bones, but these videos seem to suggest that is not necessary (and they don't explain how to do it!) TIA.
