What it is
A Blender 2.8 tutorial by CG Geek that walks through rigging a low poly humanoid character for animation in about ten minutes. It covers building an armature, adding IK leg controllers with pole targets, and parenting the rig to the mesh with automatic weights.

I’m not near my pc right now but you should have a look into creating a simple rig, this video shows how to do this [this video]

I'm having a hard time understanding how to debug my rig not working. I created the human model and now I am trying to rig the right leg. How could share more information about this? I would like my rig to behave this way: [this video] [LINK] [LINK]

I was rigging my character seeing the tutorial by CG Geek [this video] . The same process was done but my rig rotates out of model [LINK] [LINK]

Yes, I followed [this video] tutorial, but my issue stands, the IK works when there is no pole bone, but obviously the knee bends the wrong way.

enter image description here [LINK] moveing left bone [LINK] moveing right I dont know what went wrong here, I made the left rig first and mirrored it, parent it with the mesh automatic weight, and some how the right hand wont move, when I move the right hand. Only when I use the left one it moves. the Legs dont have any problems. (anatomical right and left). I used this Tutorial [this video] . If anyone could help me that would make me happy.

[LINK] [LINK] [LINK] I made a model in blender, try to rig it with bone created by myself. It became screwy in some places(Hip,Shoulder...), I have meet this problem many days. My File is here. [LINK] I follow the tutorials on Youtube. [LINK] [this video]

Using tutorial to give character a bone in its body: [this video] Following the guide: Akward pose in Object Mode [LINK] (Which explains for to clear the transform very well.) When I am following this guide, I get a Random Generated collection of bones being jumbled . What am I doing wrong as I have followed the guide but it does not revert to the edit mode state in Pose? See screenshot here. [LINK] [LINK]

I followed the tutorial from CG Geek ( [this video] ) and added all bones. I added the inverse kinematics bone constraint to the lower leg and added the controller bone. When I move the controller bone the leg bends sideways to the x coordinate. When I set the pole angle to 90 degrees it works fine but the foot is pointing to the wrong direction. Foot pointing forwards: [LINK] Leg bending forwards: [LINK] Thanks for helping. Edit: Here is the blender file: [LINK]

I am trying to create bones for my armature follow this tutorial [this video] . However, when I apply the IK bone constraint, my foot rotates weirdly. It goes from this in Edit Mode: [LINK] To this in Pose Mode: [LINK] I have set all my bones Roll to be the same at 0 degrees but that doesn't fix my problem. I have also tried adjusting the Pole Angle as well. What ends up happening is that if I fix the foot rotation by either adjust UpperLeg.R Roll or Pole Angle, my knee no longer bends correctly. The other 2 parts of the legs roll do nothing to help. I tried looking at a bunch of other similar questions, but I don't know I can't seem to quite get it right. I'm trying to make a low poly character model just for fun and I was using this tutorial [this video] to do it. Everything was working great, the rig works mostly as intended by itself - but when I apply it to the mesh it deforms everything. This didn't happen in the video at all. I've tried most solutions I can find - I made sure there was no non-manifold meshes, I made sure all the normals were flipped correctly, I applied transformations to both the model and the rig several times. I even weight painted it to the best of my ability but nothing worked. This doesn't seem to happen with other people's models, either. It doesn't just distort itself when I move the bones - it distorts it the instan
